PANORAMIC VIEW-ONLY 10 METERS FROM THE SEA
Unique holiday apartment which can be used all year This apartment on the ground floor is only 10 METRES AWAY FROM THE SEA and has a fantastic location with a panoramic view across Kerteminde Bay. The apartment was being updated in 2010 and is built of bricks with painted walls inside. ALLERGY-FRIENDLY HOUSE = the floors in the apartment are either wooden or tiled – NO CARPETS! This apartment is being heated centrally, which means that it is heated fast and easily during the winter period. BEDROOM FURNITURE = only the best is good enough! The bedroom is equipped with ergonomical mattresses, and in the living room there is a brand new INNOVATION SOFA with adjustable back part so that you can lie on the back and enjoy the view across the sea. The other furniture is kept in an oriental look and comes from a specialized furniture shop. Digital TV with 50 channels.If you fancy a quick swim, you have the sea right outside the door.

The area
Right behind the holiday complex there is the forest LUNDSGÅRDSSKOVEN and only 1 km from here you find the centre of Kerteminde with the many charming built-together houses and the idyllic harbour from where the boats still sail out onto the sea. If you get up early, you can buy fresh fish when the boats come in. Kerteminde has som of the best beaches on Funen. On both sides of the town you find the white beaches. There are many shops and nice restaurants in the town, among others the famous fish restaurant RUDOLF MATHIS. Attractions and sights Kerteminde offers many exciting sights and attractions for kids and adults. Visit the FJORD&BÆLT centre with seals and porpoises, crabs and underwater-tunnel, visit the JOHANNES LARSENS MUSEUM with the famous painter´s house and the Viking ship grave LADBYSKIBET. Take on a BOAT TRIP ON THE FJORD and visit the many exciting CRAFTSMEN and GALLERIES in the area. The great attraction during summer is the CHERRY FESTIVAL with a lot of specialities from Funen, music and a midnight song by the harbour.
Odense
25 km away from Kerteminde you find the largest town on Funen. Here there is a nice walking street with exciting shops, cafés and restaurants. ODENSE ZOO which is one of the most beautiful ones after an update, is absolutely worth a visit. Watch the penguins in the large oceanium, walk on the african savanna with tigers, lions and monkeys. Take an idyllic BOAT TRIP on the river Odense Å from the centre to the zoo. On Sundays there is jazz music on board. Visit the HOUSE OF HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN, the DANISH RAILWAY MUSEUM and Northern Europe´s largest IKEA.
